Overnight trips
Flat to Foamy 2 day adventure:
This trip is available Friday through Sunday in June or Thursday through Sunday in July and August.
Day one: Start your adventure with a flat water paddle which works up to a bit of class I & II white water. We’ll meet you at our base of operations in Milan, NH and drive up to the scenic 13 Mile Woods. We’ll help you set up camp at the gorgeous riverside Mollidgewock State Park and then embark on our first paddling adventure. Day one will take us through some beautiful flat water sections where you’ll probably run into loons, osprey and great blue herons. For this trip, we’ll ask for your boat preferences. We often bring a raft, a kayak and inner tubes on this trip so you can try them all! We’ll ease you into white water with some class I water at the beginning of this trip. After a bit of paddling, we’ll stop for a scrumptious riverside picnic catered by Tea Birds Cafe. Below your picnic spot, you’ll paddle through ”Fuzzy Bunny Falls.” Don’t let the “falls” fool you…this is a class II wave which will give you a great splash and a small thrill which we can do again and again! We’ll finish our paddle below Seven Islands Bridge where we’ll pack up our paddling gear and drive you back to your campsite to make sure you’re comfortable for the night.
Day two: If you’re leaving after today’s paddling adventure, you’ll need to pack up your camping gear in the morning before you head to North Woods Rafting. We’ll be waiting for you at our base of operations in Milan, which is about 15 minutes south of Mollidgewock State Park. Today’s paddling adventure will begin in rafts with two runs on a three and a half mile stretch of class II/III white water below Pontook Dam. We’ll bring you back to our base for another delicious Tea Birds lunch, gather our gear for the afternoon and then tackle the waves in inflatable kayaks.
Price per person: $190
If a full day on day two is too much, we can arrange for a morning-only paddle in kayaks or rafts (depending on your level of comfort) for $150 per person.
Camping gear and additional meals can be arranged at additional cost. Please call for logistical planning!
