Guided flat water trips or rentals
with or without shuttles are also available! You tell us what you’re looking for and we’ll find the perfect paddling excursion! We can show you where you’re likely to find an eagles’ nest, Osprey fishing or turtles climbing logs. We can tell you where the moose like to hang out at dusk. You might want to plan your paddling trip to learn about the rich history of the Androscoggin River – ending at the Northern Forest Heritage Park where you’ll learn what those strangely uniform islands – or boom piers as we call them – were really for. You can experience the life of a lumberjack at their simulated logging camp or, if you plan it right, you can end your trip at the Park’s Cultural Heritage Festival, River Day & Wingzilla celebration or Lumberjack Festival.
Guided River trips = $80/person
Single kayak rental = $25
Tandem kayaks or canoes $40
Shuttles: $10/boat, $20 minimum charge
